I am writing this article because I wanted to take the time and expand on the About Me section of my LinkedIn profile. I have been in the professional/business world for almost three decades. Not quite, but I am getting there and much faster than I would like to admit.

For me the purpose of the About Me section is to try and give people a window into who I am, and what it would be like to work with me. Of course, you have to actually work WITH me to see HOW you and I would actually get along.

But consider this … most people will take the time to try and get to know you, if you don’t make an effort to get out there and get to know them. What’s the moral? You need to send out invitations to connect and make the effort to connect here on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is THE foremost business networking site in the world. It was purchased by Microsoft in like 2017 for $26.2 Billion dollars. Yeah – with a “B.” While I want to get to know you, I also want others to make an effort to get to know me. I am quickly running out of room to add connections, and as a result it is becoming clear that I cannot just accept every invite. In fact, I am pretty sure that some of the invitations are actually fake profiles. Can you believe it? Hah!

As I put in my profile; ★ I rarely IDK invitations. A long time ago, I made the decision that I would not say “No” to a conversation. Buy a cup of coffee … well, you never know where that may go! Life is an adventure I will not pile up on the rocks of regret, awash in seas of “I wish I had” ★

Please send me an invitation. Let’s connect. Show me that you are a real person, that can send an invitation that isn’t a pre-generated blah crappy invite that makes up the default invite. I promise to do my best to respond to you as soon as I can. My profile is not overrun with unhygienic mice, plague bearing rats, or computer bots.

I can help structure sales teams activities, tweak their performance goals and activity assessments. I can provide “skill up” training from the collection of original materials I have created, along with Best In Class training methodologies and technologies. But, it’s not just the activity – I also work on sequencing to be sure that sales representatives and independent marketers are presenting the right information at the right time, and not torpedoing their chances to close the deal and make the sale, or hire that recruit.

With nearly a decade of experience in storm restoration damage assessment, I have become an absolute Ninja when it comes to Xactimate, the construction estimating software created and maintained by Xactware, a division of Verisk.

For a credit card/phone card sales agency we hired 1099 reps to sell credit card machines and POS machines for phone cards, with the phone cards. We built from 9 reps in 6 markets to 85 reps in 15 markets in just 15 months.
